The Conference Wing_

Buckinghamshire

This interior architecture transforms a standard corporate corridor into an elevated, hospitality-driven workspace landscape. The client journey begins as visitors step onto a linear-patterned acoustic carpet that immediately deadens foot traffic noise, signalling a shift into a premium workspace sanctuary. The eye is pulled down the thoroughfare by a recessed ceiling track finished in deep ochre, where raw industrial spotlights cast focused pools of light to dynamically animate the path forward.

The user experience centres on complete autonomy, anchored by "The Coffee Stop"—an integrated refreshment and tech bar featuring a sleek linear counter with built-in power points for casual lap-top work. Opposite the bar, a monolithic brushed-brass telephone booth serves as a bold architectural statement, offering a private acoustic capsule for calls. This intervention is flanked by deeply recessed working enclaves and plush ochre-velvet banquettes, backed by vertical fluted panels and vibrant planters that inject a natural, biophilic touch.

Movement down the boulevard is entirely intuitive, guiding visitors past clearly marked studio thresholds defined by clean, minimalist black typography. The raw, industrial language of the exposed ochre ductwork is constantly balanced by warm, hidden LED backlighting and soft velvet upholstery, creating a highly tactile environment. By merging boutique hotel luxury with a porous, functional layout, the design elevates a simple thoroughfare into an active, collaborative business destination.
